People from a health profession (doctor, dentist, pharmacist, alternative practitioner, physiotherapist, osteopath, chemist, nutritionist/coach etc.). Basic knowledge of anatomy is assumed; we cannot cover this in the course.
You will deepen your knowledge of the processes in the intestine, which symptoms you can look out for, which investigations are important, which therapeutic agents are useful and where the stumbling blocks lie
We know from our own experience: Clients / patients are looking for therapists who can carry out a comprehensive stool analysis and also interpret it competently. If you can offer this, you will win new customers!
The enthusiastic feedback from our previous participants has emphasized one thing again and again: it is incredibly useful to network across disciplines and get to know like-minded therapists with whom you can work in the future.
You have recognized the importance of gut health for your patients/clients, but you still lack the expertise or training to competently answer questions about gut health or provide comprehensive consultations.
You would like to offer microbiome analyses, but you don't feel confident enough to be able to explain the results competently and confidently and to draw the right conclusions that will really help your patients/clients.
You already work a lot and are looking for a way to increase your turnover without having to take on more clients or patients or work more hours than you already do.
You're not sure what the legal situation is when it comes to advice on dietary supplements and gut health, what you're allowed to offer and how you can charge for it.
✔️ You are able to pass on complex information about the microbiome and metabolome to the patient in an understandable way. Any skepticism your patient may have about new approaches or therapies will disappear because you can easily explain their benefits to them.
✔️ With state-of-the-art microbiome and metabolome analysis, you receive a tool with which you can see measurable results or improvements in order to validate the success of a therapy for yourself and the patient.
✔️ You will recoup the costs of this course with 5-6 sold microbiome analyses and the corresponding food supplements and you will also receive further training points for your participation.
✔️ Adding a new service or offering like gut health and microbiome analytics to your practice is effortless and easy despite your busy schedule because you've got all the info you need bundled together.
✔️ A comprehensive understanding of gut health often requires collaboration between different specialties. By taking part in this training course, you will greatly expand your network of therapists from disciplines other than yours who also work in the field of gut health.
✔️ Choosing the most suitable gut health products for your patients is suddenly much easier thanks to the information provided by the various lecturers in the course and the questions you were able to ask the lecturers.

We both have a passion for the topic of the gut and gut health and attach great importance to a thorough, holistic and causal approach to the topic of gut health.
Roman Gruber has been very sporty since childhood and has always been involved in sport, from martial arts, handball, duathlon and Ironman to racing bikes, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
He has over 20 years' experience in the field of gut health, having run a practice specializing in micronutrients and microbiome analysis for over 10 years before setting up Arktis BioPharma Switzerland.
Simon Feldhaus was born into the medical profession, so to speak. Both his father and his uncle were family doctors. For him, it was like growing into the profession. He sometimes went to his father's practice and, like many others, walked around with a doctor's bag from an early age. He just never put it down again.
Somewhat unconventionally, he also trained in naturopathy at the same time as studying human medicine.
Today, he is head physician at the Paramed Clinic in Baar, where he is able to reconcile the two worlds of conventional medicine and naturopathy. The integrative, holistic approach is his passion and helps him to use the strengths of one approach to compensate for the weaknesses of the other and vice versa.

Group work and case studies to put what you have learned into practice straight away
You will be able to discuss your own microbiome analysis, but we will also use case studies to show you how we discuss the results of a microbiome analysis and what measures we suggest to the patient/client.
In any case, my expectations were met. Before the course, microbiome analysis was a closed book, a completely unknown foreign language. During the course, we learned far more than just the basics of this foreign language. I appreciated the great participants, the good organization, friendly organizers, diverse and exciting speakers and lectures. And the many case studies from everyday life.
Dr. med. Barbara Hövekamp, Specialist in General Internal Medicine

"I would recommend the training to any therapist, it is very profound."
Sibylla Nehmer / Nutritionist
"The variety and diversity that the lecturers brought to the course is very helpful for my future career."
We deal with the laboratory parameters that are determined in a modern molecular genetic microbiome analysis and in a metabolome analysis. Which values are useful to test and how do you do this in practice (which tubes do you need, how do you register, etc.)?
You will learn which symptoms indicate intestinal problems. We will discuss the characteristics of common intestinal conditions (irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, SIBO, histaminosis) and what needs to be clarified so that you can draw up a working hypothesis.
Today, it will be suitable for everyday use. How do you deal with cases in practice, what do you focus on when interpreting an analysis, which therapies do you recommend and how do you best sell your new microbiome analysis service?
In recent years, histamine has become an increasingly serious problem and a point that must be taken into account. Not only for people who have allergies. We also talk about microbiological therapy preparations.
You will learn how the gut also influences the processes in the brain (and vice versa). We talk about mental overload and stress and why this is an important focus when it comes to gut health. Fasting also fits in very well with this topic, as it relieves the system and allows signals to flow better again.
Today we will also talk about stress again. Then there will be a summary of the last 5 days and the opportunity to discuss and clarify any unanswered questions. The training ends with the exam, which is necessary in order to be able to award training points. The exam is the ideal recapitulation of all content, as each lecturer has contributed two questions.
