Liquid multivitamin in winter: Does it really make sense? (DG335)

Vivora: Why a liquid multivitamin with postbiotics makes sense today

People ask themselves: Do I need a multivitamin or is it actually superfluous?

As is so often the case, the answer is not black and white.

Do you really need a multivitamin?

Many people ask themselves this question, especially in winter. Especially when colds are common, there is little sunshine and everyday life remains stressful.

In this episode of the Darmglück podcast, Julia Gruber talks about this,

  • why multivitamins can generally make sense (but not the same for everyone)
  • why the immune system is closely linked to the gut
  • what postbiotics are and why they are better tolerated than probiotics for many people
  • why a liquid multivitamin can have advantages in everyday life
  • and what's behind our new product Arktibiotic Vivora

Multivitamins: useful or marketing?

If someone eats perfectly, has little stress, gets enough sun and cooks fresh food every day, they probably don't need a multivitamin.

However, the reality is different. Studies and surveys repeatedly show that many people eat significantly less fruit and vegetables than recommended. Only a few achieve the well-known "5 a day". In addition, there is little fish, little sun in winter and an often stressful everyday life.

This does not mean that everyone has a serious deficiency. But it does explain why micronutrient deficiencies are common.

Why the gut is crucial for the immune system

Around 70 percent of the immune system is located in or around the gut. The immune system can therefore not be viewed in isolation. The intestinal barrier, mucous membrane, nutrient supply, nervous system and lifestyle all interact.

A multivitamin designed to support the immune system therefore only makes sense if the gut is also taken into account.

What are postbiotics?

Many people know probiotics. Live bacteria. Less well known are postbiotics. These are heat-inactivated strains of bacteria. They are no longer alive, but their functional components remain intact.

Postbioticsare stable, very well tolerated and can interact with the intestinal barrier and the gut-associated immune system. They are an exciting alternative, especially for people who are sensitive to probiotics.

It is important to note that postbiotics are not a miracle cure, but they can have a supportive effect.

What Arktibiotic Vivora consciously does differently

Vivora was developed to support the immune system in everyday life:

  • liquid instead of capsules
  • Simple dosage: 16 ml daily
  • Based on fruit and vegetable extracts
  • Combination of vitamins, minerals, postbiotics and DHA from algae oil
  • well tolerated and uncomplicated

Vivora is not a substitute for a healthy diet, but a supplement for people who are looking for a simple and predictable solution in everyday life.

Who Vivora is for

Vivora is aimed at adults who:

  • have little time
  • want to consciously support their immune system
